My Birthday

It was also my birthday this week, I was very spoiled and not least of all by the ladies what craft, not the ladies what lunch, they are a different group altogether :-) .
I am always delighted to receive cards but these are special. I could not pick a favourite if my life depended on it as each is unique. Jackie’s is a work of art and I covet the stamp used, Pat’s is delicate and pink, always a winner, Margaret’s image wistful and full of charm, Jo’s perfect balance of colour, Jackie J who swears she is more of a scrap booker than a card maker but you would never guess that given how lovely this card is, Patti’s floral beauty and very clever mechanics, Sylvia who always decorates the inside of the card and the envelope as well as making the card beautiful, Pauline her card showing her love of all bear kind and last but again not least Angel’s a fun stamp beautifully rendered.

I thank you all for sending me these lovely cards, which I still have up!!!!!

Angela's Birthday

It has been a busy week first it was Angela’s birthday on Monday; this is the card I made for her. The image is Sugar Nellie and I think she is lovely. I used some papers from my stash and coloured her with water colour pencils. I hope you liked it Angela.

Jackies Card Class

These are the five fantastic cards we made with Jackie today. The class was great fun, Jackie designs the cards herself and the products are all Stampin Up so the quality is top notch... you are given all the papers, ribbon and embellishments, use of the stamps, full written instructions and Jackie is on hand to help with the fiddly bits... what better way to spend a grey Sunday than with friends making cards and having fun.... check out Jackie’s Blog of dates of upcoming card and scrapbook classes. www.jackiescards.blogspot.com

A little bird told me

This is a card I made at Pat's club last week, I meant to post it before but that annoying real life malarkey got in the way !!!! Between losing my itouch on the train and getting a summer cold (having spent all winter dodging the great snot monsters I work with) and work yet again getting in the way of the important things in life i.e. crafting I just didn't get round to it.... I hope you like this again my favourite papers just now Basic Grey Wisteria and a little bird told me stamp. Tomorrow is going to be a great day I am attending a card making class run by Jackie of Jackie’s House of Cards, (I have a link to her blog on this page) I would recommend that if anyone is in the Essex area they check her blog for any classes she runs as they are very sought after and if you can get a place you will never be disappointed...

60th

I love this lady relaxing in the bath it just looks so good, I coloured her with water colour pencils and the papers I used are Basic Grey Wisteria I adore all the papers in this collection!!!! My intention was to use up all my left over paper before I bought any more but my friend Jo said that the 6x6 packs were better for cards as the pattern is smaller so I who have the breaking strain of a Kit Kat was straight on line ordering a ton of them !!!! I am weak and have no shame..

Happy Birthday Margaret

This is the card I made for my friend and fellow crafter Margarets Birthday which is today so Happy Birthday Margaret...... I loved the image of this lady she is sophisticated, classy and has that 50’s chic, I coloured her with water colour pencils which are my favourite medium and the papers I used were a Melissa Frances and the backing paper was from DCV luxury stack. Again Happy Birthday Margaret have a great day....
